Floor Closer / Floorsprings

Floor closers or floorsprings are still a popular solution for double action doors as they allow the door to move both ways through an opening so we commonly see floorspings fitted in Hospitals and Care Homes where the type of traffic going through the opening is medical beds and trollies. Years gone by all the common floorsprings brands were Newton Tonks (NT), Gibbons Format or Stanmore but now with all of those floor closers now not available the common brands are now Geze, Dorma, Exidor and Briton. We now retro fit all of the old brands with new floor closers with a couple adaptions on the door and floor where the closer is fitted.
